CHOOSING WEDDING VENUES
Choosing a wedding venue is as important to work after deciding the date. Planning for a dream wedding is fulfilled after finalizing the right venue. But sometimes it becomes more confusing for the couple to decide. There are many questions that are running in mind how to find the best venue that has all the facilities like location, capacity, and style that perfectly match with you.
First of all, ensure that the place that you are taking for your event is fits on budget or not. As well as find out the extra expense that is going to spend on the venue. Before you sign the contract for the venue, there are some questions you need to ask.
ARE THE DATES AVAILABLE?
Spring and summer are wedding seasons and at this time you hardly get a date on your favorite venue. People have done an advance booking before 6 months or a year before. To avoid any kind of a disappointment for your venue make sure the dates are available for that day. Or either you have to change your venue according to the availability of dates.
COST OF THE VENUE
One of the most important discussions you will have with a potential venue involves pricing. Ask them whether they are taking extra charges or applying any kind of Tex? Because you are just renting the space for some time. They will provide the packages that will help you to make a decision and the most important to finalize the budget. Think twice before booking.
NUMBER OF GUESTS ALLOWED
After this pandemic condition mostly, venues have made strict terms and conditions regarding the guests. So if the number of the guest list is too big two options to go for. 1st one is trimming your guest list according to the place or the number of people that they have allowed. The 2nd option is you have to change the venue because you can’t fit a few guests in a big space that will look empty and weird.
POLICY IF THE EVENT GET POSTPONE OR CANCEL
Keeping an eye on the cancellation policy is not a top inquiry to ask in this COVID time. In the last couple of years, I have seen many people getting worried about the government policies that are announced by them for these types of events. In most the places, the deposit is non-refundable. Depending on how far in advance your reservation was made. What is the penalty to pay for rebooking the same venue if the event is postponed? How far in an advance call you will cancel or postpone the event.
CATERING SITUATION
In most of the venues, catering services are provided by them. If there is not ask them either they will going to arrange for them or we have to bring outside caters. Ensure that the food provided is of good quality, taste, and presentation if they provide you with their own. Or else it will make you embrace in front of your guest. The best thing to hire is the one whom you know has the best quality and taste.
